Fernie is home to one of the most beautiful libraries in British Columbia and is a wonderful place to pop into while visiting historic downtown Fernie. One of the highlights of the Fernie Heritage Library’s programming schedule is their Booked Writers Series, which features an entertaining mix of authors and literary figures from across Canada.

Booked! presents award winning Canadian writer  Marina Endicott. From celebrated novels such as Good to a Fault, to her soon to be released, The Difference, Marina is an important contributor of Canada’s current literary scene. Enjoy a special reading plus Q&A with Marina along with live music, a cash bar, and appetizers. Doors open at 7 pm, followed by a discussion and reading at 8:00 pm. Suggested donation, $10.

The Park Place Lodge is a proud sponsor of the Booked series and we are thrilled to help support the cultural vibrancy the Fernie Heritage Library contributes to our community.

Please join us for a meal prior to the event in the Bistro Restaurant or the Pub Bar & Grill. We are only a short 5-minute walk away from historic downtown Fernie and the Library.

In addition, if you are from out of town and would like to join us for a Fernie hotel stay to take in one of these wonderful presentations, please call our toll-free reservations line at 1-888-381-7275 or Book Online.
