What’s on Tap & On Menu at the Pub
Fall is one of our favorite times of the year in Fernie, the cool, crisp weather, the slower pace of life and, of course, craft burgers and beers! The Pub’s annual BC Craft Burger & Beer Month runs from October 1-31 where we celebrate two things we are passionate about here in the Pub ….. delicious hamburgers and BC craft beers! Choose from 1 of 5 specialty burgers: the Grilled Maple Salmon Burger, Hawaiian Pork Slider Trio, More Cowbell Smashburger, Portobello Mushroom Head Burger and the Buttermilk Fried Crispy Chicken Burger. You can pair these great burgers with one of 16 beers and ciders on tap including tasty craft beers from Fernie Brewing Co., Mount Begbie Brewery, Stanley Park Brewery and Nelson Brewing Co. As a bonus, we are also featuring a Vanilla Cream Filled Donut Burger with fresh berries, & strawberry sauce if you are looking for a burger dessert fix!
For this On Tap & On Menu post, we thought we would highlight one of the featured new burgers, the Buttermilk Fried Crispy Chicken Burger, along with a Tall Timber Ale from Mt Begbie Brewing, which are both featured on this year’s BC Craft Beer & Burger Menu:
The Buttermilk Fried Crispy Chicken Burger features crispy chicken breast with bacon, American cheese, lettuce & tomato. According to our taste testing staff, a classic chicken burger like this pairs perfectly with the Tall Timber Ale, with it’s dark and delicious blend of caramel and chocolate malt flavours. Make sure to try out this pairing during the Pub’s BC Craft Beer & Burger month!
